Created By Hand Tuesday (2/26)--Bunny Template(http://createdbyhandchallenge.wordpress.com/)
I used paper I made for last week's glossy paper challenge and then I used heart scrim as a stencil with chalk ink and added embellishments.
Haven't decided what I'm doing with my bunny yet...will either add it to a card or make an ornament. Any suggestions?
Gothic Arch Sunday--Using Trash (http://gothicarches.wordpress.com/)
I used the lid from a containter of orange juice concentrate as a frame and the gorgeous woman within it is my Mom. Va va va vooooooooooom!!
I have been deeply inspired by my darling girl Tam, Suzi Blu and TimewithTascha, that I have finally kicked fear to the curb and tried my hand at painting. Not completely wild about the background, which turned kind of murky from layers of paint and being too impatient to wait for the paint to try thoroughly, but I do like my girl. It took me forever to get her face to come out looking normal and not grotesquely deformed. And yes, she's leaning waaaaaaaaaaaay to the side. I guess that comes from my own off-balanced, skewed view of life. Ha. I think I'll be making more of these little paintings, though I think until I am used to it, I'll stick with watercolor paper and saves the canvases for other artwork.
4x5 stretched canvas, edges yet to be finished.
